According to Private Violence: 75% of women who leave their abusers are killed at the point of separation or when they try to leave. Each year about 4,000 women die because of domestic violence.
The O’Tahirah Foundation, Inc offers a pathway to safety for women and children through our Survivors Emergency Rescue Program. Our program is facilitated through The O’Tahirah Foundation’s House of Hope. The House of Hope will provide emergency housing, food, and basic needs assistance for women and children escaping domestic abuse. The O‘Tahirah Foundation’s House of Hope represents the restoration of LIFE. Our Survivors Emergency Rescue program aids in education, rebuilding, future safety planning, professional counseling, trauma and group therapy support.
